May the 20th saw the opening of the Lennox Head Community Centre a magnificent building in the heart of Lennox Head.

We were asked to provide audio and visual equipment  for the speeches ,.choir and to display a visual slideshow of the history of the construction. Magnificent accoustics in the main sports hall.

A great facility for the Lennox Head community.

Wednesday evening 30th June 2010:

This night saw the 10th anniversary of the annual Kids in Community Awards .

What an inspiring evening with over 140 nominees standing for a variety of award categories relating to all the positive things that our youth are responsible for in our area.

This year saw NRL star Preston Campbell on stage as key note speaker to a capacity audience of 800 people.Preston held the audience with the story of his background and future aspirations. A shining light to encourage the assembled youngsters that the rewards and satisfaction can come to anyone who persists with their dream.

Can't wait until next year !

As with every year conference activity slows in June whilst organisers eagerley await fresh allocation of funds for the new financial year.

During the slow down hard working conference technicians take a well earned break, polish their computer screens and brush up on the latest powerpoint features and tricks.

We look forward to the new year with a mixture of anticipation and avarice!

Recent conference client flew in to the Byron at Byron Resort in his own helicopter. Conference Manager Stuart Amos had to don his personally tailored visibility vest and guide the aircraft to a perfect landing in the resort carpark.

Maintenance staff were impressed when the big "blower on top" of the helicopter did a clean sweep of all areas in a fraction of the time it normally takes them.

Management were reluctant to consider the purchase of a similar aircraft for the same purpose......
